I like that it's getting such wildly different reviews. Art is about risk, and boy did he take one here!

Fair play to Sufjan, he's creating the music he wants to. This has some nice bits, but I fear he's become a parody of himself a little and he has quite taken me for trip on this one, or the EP. I love his earlier work, so I've listened a few times. I've tried to love it, but can't.

Wow, the more I listen to it the greater it gets. I loved his story telling antropological approach with Illinois but he pulls this off beautifully. A contender for the best album of 2010 for sure. What an artist. Vesuvius...

Best buy had it for 9.99. great buy on this one. I wanted no sound quality loss when hearing this masterpiece.
