I also like that they used the same logo as the first Christmas album, I just wish they didn't go for the same pose too.

Given that, it's very funny - and slightly pathetic - that you've been following my every post about Mariah. At least it wasn't a Bionic situation. There were no viable singles on the album beyond Obsessed - and Mariah usually depends on successful singles to sell her records.

I realize that she is trying to recapture some success with this release, as holiday albums tend to do reasonably well simply by virtue of their content. I dont really see this being a perennial holiday album like her first Christmas album where it will see a huge sales spike every holiday season. She would need a long lasting holiday hit and I doubt anything she releases could compete with a song as huge as All I Want for Christmas is You. What is really going to determine how this really sells is how her Home Shopping Network promotion of this album helps sell her album to that older audience. Anything less than 500,000 would be a huge disappointment, though.
