One of the funkiest bands to hit the R&B funk scene. Zapp and Roger are F U N K LEGENDS

That was a decent family.

I never knew that they gave so much to the community before this special. I wish there'll be a book discussing Roger's music in details, tracking his side-projects for other artists and esp his rhythm guitar playing technique.

That man was THEE rhythm guitar lord.

The documentary gave me new respect for the Troutman family and Roger despite the tragedy.

Would indeed be awesome if such a great retrospective (maybe including a dvd with rarities) would be released.

I watched the Unsung-ep with awe, seeing the pics of how focussed he was while recording in the studio,

and it struck me deep when the moment came that brothers Lester and Terry "Zapp" Troutman told about both their brothers passing sad

I always much enjoyed Roger's productions of slowjams cloud9
