Love Unlimited

Beautiful music:

This song reminds me a bit of Prince's song "Walking in the Sand"

Harlepolis

This will always be my fave...

Barry White & Gene Page gave birth to magic with everything they touched.

Cool! I loved their voices, and the love unlimited orchestra was the jam as well.

This was the initial outlet for Barry White before someone convinced him he should be singing his own songs rather than have someone sing them. lol

For a time though Love Unlimited were smoking hot with their output. biggrin

I've always enjoyed Love Unlimited's harmonizing and the Love Unlimited Orchestra's music.

Me too. Barry White was really a genius for creating two powerful ensembles. nod Then he added his own extra ingredient - his voice. He was THE KING as far as the mid-1970s was concerned.

Oh yeah, Barry ruled the mid 70s. His deep voice was amazing and carried each song well. A true music genius. So sad he passed away so soon.

I'm still not over his death. I figured he was just getting hotter musically. He was still a kid when he died (58).

I hear you. I just don't feel he received the recognition he deserved. He was truly a music genius.
