Cool! I loved their voices, and the love unlimited orchestra was the jam as well.

I have a 'Best of' CD by them and every track is just heavenly I can't even pick a favorite song.

This was the initial outlet for Barry White before someone convinced him he should be singing his own songs rather than have someone sing them.

For a time though Love Unlimited were smoking hot with their output.

Me too. Barry White was really a genius for creating two powerful ensembles. Then he added his own extra ingredient - his voice. He was THE KING as far as the mid-1970s was concerned.

Oh yeah, Barry ruled the mid 70s. His deep voice was amazing and carried each song well. A true music genius. So sad he passed away so soon.

I'm still not over his death. I figured he was just getting hotter musically. He was still a kid when he died (58).
