I'd like to introduce the Org to a talented musician/songwriter called Mamiko Dís.

She's classically trained as a pianist and has a BA degree in composing music.

But while she has mostly composed classical music, she has been working on several pop songs for the past year or so. She was recently offered a chance to perform with several other young female artists in the concert series Trúbatrix which has been to several places in Iceland. The arrangements here are very stripped-down as the participants are only singing and playing either on piano or guitar.

And I'm pretty sure that a few new songs might be added to her Myspace page later this year, including some of the stuff she performed in the concert in studio versions.
