Britney Vs Rihanna - Who's the better singer?

I'm serious.

I'm no fan of either, merely tolerating the fact they're stealing my oxygen. But after thoughtful consideration and weighing it up i actually, almost unbelievably think i'd rather listen to Britney.

Rihanna's whiney, horrible nasally voice grates on me like nothing else on earth.

Definitely Britney.

Comparing some of her ballads to Rihanna's I'd choose something like Everytime or Sometimes ANYDAY over Unfaithful or Take a Bow.

Kinda strange, kinda awesome.

I literally laughed out loud when I saw this subject. It's truly the lesser of two evils. So I'm gonna say Christina.

In any comparison other than Britney vs Yoko Ono, Britney loses.

I'm not a fan of Rihanna's music. Get over it.

I don't think the two have much in common, and that Rihanna can sing, she just doesn't showcase it on her recent records. I used to think she sounded a little bit like Beyonce on some of her unreleased album tracks in the beginning.

Britney, by a mile

When she has a "classic" in her hands (Ooops, Baby 1 more time, Toxic) etc. she sings her heart out. Also, she HAS a great sense of humor and you gotta love that "foxy" voice that she uses many times,... white slut voice cool

Rihanna is just...BOOOOORING...neutral she sings as if she knew that her songs are crap...

I didn't say she has a great voice or whatever; I said that she certainly has ATTITUDE and STYLE

, and Rihanna lacks both...

I don't know if you're being sarcastic, but yeah I like a lot of them and I prefer Beyonce over Rihanna way more. I've seen her in concert twice, I would never go see Rihanna, I just enjoy her songs from afar and that's it.

LOL, I agree.

But since she's not on the list, I have to say Brit-Brit. Rihanna's yodeling quickly starts to grate my nerves, and if anything, I can say that Britney may be a "blonde" sometimes, but at least she's not an android.

Britney. Rihanna's accent or whatever the fuck it is over her weak tone/voice is just a mess. It's like she has a signature sound but the sound is horrifying and whenever I hear it I know it's RiRi.

Christina's voice may be technically better but what a boring music world it would be with just voices like that in it. Britney and Rihanna have something Christina lacks, a unique tone, which is why they're so great at dance music and why Bionic is so average. Both of them have great voices for their genre. It would be extremely boring going to the clubs with nothing but American Idol type voices.

Oh and to answer the question, even though I prefer the sound of Britneys voice, I think Rihanna's the better singer.

I don't think Christina is anything like them. When Baby One More Time and Genie In a Bottle came out, I could not understand why teen magazines were pinning them against each other at all. I saw Christina as an r&b artist like TLC or Mya up until I started seeing her everywhere with Britney and the boybands. And I agree that too many people sound like Christina on American Idol, and it's not a unique tone at all.

Yeah shes nothing like them, but other people were bringing her up trying to shade the other girls which was uncalled for. On songs like I Will Always Love You, My heart Will Go On and Beautiful I want to hear Christina type vocals. On songs like Toxic, Please Dont Stop The Music and most of Bionic I'd prefer Britney/Rihanna. There IS room for girls like them, which alot of people on this site down understand.

White, blond hair and blue eyes. Her label was really trying to push her to be a bubble gum teen pop singer. lmao

Anyway hmmm, the robotic, nasally autotuned vocals or the gyrating goat-like vocals. I can't choose they're equally annoying.
