I don't really think of her at all. I did however have a big poster of her on my wall throughout my teenage years. This one here:

I don't know, i like her. im not like her but i do like her. nothing against her at all she was a good person, but alot of people think shes trash. I like her i dont know, shes no worse than lady gaga.

'Some Like It Hot' was one of the best comedies of all-time and 'My Heart Belongs To Daddy' one of the best songs of all time...

People may copy her style and make it trashy but Marilyn wasn't trashy.

She was actually a clever woman, and just wanted to be loved I think...

Not that most folks on a site like this would know, but in the acting world among actors and actresses who know the craft ...Marilyn Monroe has HUGE respect. She is viewed and admired as one of the greatest film actressess of all time.

I love her.

I think shes the original Britney Spears. The general public thought she was an untalented skank despite how popular she was but she had huge respect in the industry among fellow actors. Only now does the population respect her but there was NONE back then. She was quite unclassy for her time and even has the Britney crotch shots (no she didnt wear panties either). She went through crazy periods publicly which I'm not sure any star had done before but was still loved and went strong with her career untill she died. Just like all the big stars all the bad was forgiven and forgotten when she died which is why people scoff if any modern celebrity is compared to her. But she (and Brigitte Bardot) was really the one who set the standard for the behaviour of the modern female celebrity.

Especially Madonna!

I think she wasn't the most talented, but she had great presence and charisma.

A large portion of Madonna's career is all about imitating Marilyn's look. Madonna is lucky Marilyn didn't have any kids because they probably could have sued her for something by now

I think she was damaged goods, immensely talented, and very trusting of the people who meant to do her the most harm. She was intelligent, mentally ill, and quite childlike in many ways. Quite frankly, there has been plenty of discussion about her hereditary mental illness ( her mother was in and out of hospitals for many years), but nothing is discussed about why so many people used her for their own motivations. Frank Sinatra used her to get in with the Kennedys. He pimped her out with most of his friends while she was doped up on pills. I would love to hear about the heads of state that she was used to entice.

Joe DiMaggio tried to protect her even after their divorce. Sad really. Beautiful, Talented, and Abused.

I love her.

I have a slight obsession with her.
