I'm a pretty big fan but I haven't picked this up yet. I wasn't too happy with the last Velvet Revolver album and I haven't been keeping up with what the DeLeo brothers have been doing and I'm not sure if I should pick this up or not. So, if anyone has heard the new album and has some opinions about it I would like to hear them. I was a little let down by the previous album (Shangri-La Dee Da) and if the new one is at least better than that one I will be happy with it.

I think it's pretty good, Weiland's on a glam-pop Bowie trip on a few of the tracks. More punchy melodic rock than Shangrai-la.

I saw them at Brixton last month for the first time, they sounded great and really delved into their back catalogue.

You should check out Weiland's solo album 'Happy In Galoshes' from 08.
