And BTW, I think Geri's Look At Me was only a minor hit here in the USA. But I'm very aware that it was a massive hit in the UK. But this is the first time that I've ever seen the video. During a usual discussion about Gaga's using symbolism, Geri's video was brought to my attention. I was so stun that I had to to bring this up. Anyway, have fun figuring this one out.

They are both black and white. Both feature nuns. Other than that, the videos are not alike AT ALL. They don't have a similar concept, feel, anything. I doubt Gaga has even seen this video...

I don't know if this video got many spins on MTV but here in Canada Much Music played it a fair bit. In fact I dimly recall that they dedicated an hour long special to the "world premiere."

This video only got played twice here in the states. It was "here today gone tomorrow". So I doubt Gaga knew at all.

Here's a shocker: I'm not convince that any of The Spice Girls (as a group) were working directly with the dark side. But they were definitely being set-up at the height of "Spicemania" to be pawns of the game.

Now as individuals, I wonder about Geri & Mel B. These two have a little history when it comes to stories of infighting within the group for the leadership role. You know how easily it is for someone within the industry to play the "divide & conquer" card on people.

I was watching this entire French documentary about The Spice Girls' live debut in France. In this second part of the show, pay close attention with what Mel B is wearing and you tell me whether or not something doesn't look right:

You will see it within the 1:49-1:51 mark & again within the 3:22-3:55 mark.

Geri released three and Melanie C. released four. Geri has had four #1 singles in the UK (three from her first album and one on her second) while Melanie C. has only had two UK #1's (both on her first album). Oddly, Melanie's first album is the best selling of all the Spice Girls solo albums.

Cool. I do find it odd that Schizophonic had three number one hits and one number two hit yet it sold less than Northern Star which had two number one hits, two that hit number 4 and one just inside the top twenty.
