This is a site-specific fest; not a touring one. It's sponsored by Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) and the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency (RDA) as part of the Summer And Music (SAM). It's the city’s homegrown, sustainable concerts series providing an entire summer of free music to the public with an emphasis on green technology.

The line-up and flyer-artwork are tight ! I remember they started organising this fest about 1 or 2 years ago ? ... In these days where live-concerts are a major part of artists' marketing-strategy (which in some cases demand astronomical prices or don't sell well : Concerts being cancelled ...han usual? ), it is refreshing and generous to see an organisation making it possible for people to visit a free music-festival. That shure doesn't look or sound like shit to me. | |
