2 Questions:
-Does this thread suck or what? 1 answer??, c'mon
-Does anyone give a fuck about electronica here in the org?

That's tough for me as I listen to very little purely electronic/synthetic music. I really like a lot of stuff some might call experimental (Can, Scott Walker, Robert Wyatt, Neu) but few acts that are exclusively electonic.
Donna Summer - I Feel Love

Don't ever call the genre "electronica" ever again. THAT word was invented by the news media because they lacked key details of the history of electronic music and it's subgenres. [Edited 7/7/10 19:21pm] | |

i think i could make a list of about 100 songs, with multiple entries by groups/artists like autechre, aphex twin etc etc.
but i decided to just make a quick, simple list of the songs that pop into my head when i try to think of my favorit electro songs of the last few decades.
also decided not to feature any group or artist more than once. i'm gonna burn myself a disc with this list for future listening pleasure
alva noto & ryuichi sakamoto - siisx the knife - silent shout
