I don't like the concept of the shoot, it cries desperation and her face looks unnatural. She looks great most of the time though.

Are you blind? She didn't show much skin in the Discipline era at all besides her mid-riff and boobs on the cover. Throughout the whole era she was fully covered. People kept bitching and she actually wore clothing that covered her from head to toe. But people are still bitching. Like she's tooting around in just a bikini. The only time she showed skin is when she was promoting and this was in the AFY era.

@paisley, she didn't do no spread eagle shots during the Discipline era, you got that confused with the 20 Y.O. period.

Also, no actually "Feedback" made me purchased, THAT and I'm a fan of Janet so I buy anything anyway hoping I'll like the album (and "Discipline" had some real good stuff in it, which is what I couldn't say much for "20 YO").

I don't know how if anyone is that offended by what Janet does, that they can't or don't want to accept that she'll probably never do what she used to do because she's at a different stage in her life/career at this point?

AFY and 20 Y.O. (well at least the photo shoots for 20 Y.O.) Other than that mostly clothed everywhere else in the eras following the "janet." period.

Janet Jackson, for me, is one of the few artists, whose album i'll buy, without having heard a single track.

Discipline has some great tracks on it. definitely should've been more successful than it was. but with promotion lacking, it's understandable. don't care too much for the artwork and cover on this one. there are probably 2, maybe 3 tracks i could do without. i think i enjoyed tracks from this album the most went i saw her on her last tour... ok no. i enjoyed them all.

and i quite enjoy 20 Y.0. except the horrendous title and again, overal artwork. ENJOY was a surprise standout track for me. and my co-workers would always put that track on repeat. So Excited is still this business.. i remember it being promoted as throw back to Control, even with the collage printed on the actual cd...and it clearly was not!!! but i like it none the less.
