New Edition on Geffen/Interscope

Their are rumors circulating that all six members of New Edition have inked a new deal with Geffen/Interscope it's even mentioned on their wikipedia page yes wikipedia is more accurate than some take credit for. Some are signed separately as well BBD is signed there as well as Bobby Brown where he will release his next album The Masterpiece. Also Heads Of State will release a album on the album then all 6 members of the group together should be fun if it's true.

Hopefully it'll be better than One Love

Thats funny as I don't like any of those tracks. I should try them again though.

As I generally hate all rnb post newjack I bought the album expecting the worst (particually after the rubbish single "hot 2nite"). Yet again though, Jam/Lewis save the album. They write so well for those guys. Its almost like they hold tracks back just for them (as NE havw always waited years between albums post "Heartbreak"). Songs like "Newness" and "re-write the memories", to me, are great songs as good as anything they have done, and show Jam/Lewis being able to write for a group who arn't young men anymore.

Other tracks I liked were "come home with me" (another Jam/Lewis track), and "best man". I know those 2 are formulaic somewhat, but I like them anyway LOL. Iam trying to remember "thats why I lied", I think I dug that one as well?

As long as Jam/Lewis team up with N.E again, I'll look forward to the release.

You got my memories flowing...I did like Newness and Re-Write The Memories...it was kind of like a tribute to Home Again and Heartbreak.

Funny how I like the album more then you, and you like alot more modern rnb then I do LOL. As I said, Jam/Lewis still brought it on "One love". I hope thw boys work with them again...I still need to replay the first half of "one love". But I remember it being pretty horrible to me personally.

it still was not a good album all together....and Jimmy and Terry shoudl have done a bunch of uptempo tracks for them because most of it was ballad corner.

I've always liked Jimmy and Terry's ballads so I was cool with the 2 they gave New Edition. I don't remember "home again" having any uptempos at all? I might be wrong though as its been years since I've played it. At least "One love" had "the best man".
