He writes the songs that make the whole world sing
He writes the songs of love, and special things
He writes the songs that make the young girls cry...
He writes the songs... he writes the songs...
He is music, and he writes the songs.

(funny thing is, he didn't write that song) lol

Yeah, mistermaxxx, 2002 was his year! He released "Ultimate Manilow" and it scored big. It also let us know that he did, in fact, write some killer songs!

Copacabana - a classic story of showgirl, jealous bartender and rich, suave sugar daddy. lol

Speaking of stories and such 4 songs... check out Marty Robbins' three songs written about a "Lola-ish" character. The songs, "El Paso", "Felina", and "El Paso City"... all classics with great stories of love and deception.

Great thread, by the way... biggrin

(LOL)...I'm not real big on Barry but I like this song. Good pick. Yes, Barry has considerable writing abilities.
