New Cee-Lo Green Mixtape "Stray Bullets"

This dropped last night? If you guys haven't checked it out yet, do so! It's TIGHT!! It's more of an album then a "mixtape"

I going posted a link to this since it's a free mixtape... I guess that okay w/ the rules. If not... Delete it.

Why erase the link when it's free? I'm sure Cee-Lo would want it spread through word of mouth avenues such as this...
Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

Why was the link removed?

it needs to be reinstated and the mod needs to make a public apology.

I've never been big on Cee-Lo, but this mixtape has converted me. It's freakin' fantastic. drool It's a great mix of R&B, hip-hop, funk, and old school/blaxploitation styles. I can't believe he's giving away music of this caliber for free, but it succeeded at getting my attention.

Well worth the download!

The link shouldn't have been removed, but it only takes a second to google up a new download link. It's all over the place.

I don't like it. Maybe it has to grow on me. I was expecting it to sound like the song from the video he just released. I'm really trying to get into Cee-Lo shrug

After reading Jack Splash's comments that Cee Lo's new solo album is not going to be psychedelic trippy stuff but him singing songs that will be covered 40 years from now. Then Cee Lo says that he has 60 songs recorded for the new album.........

This seems to be a mix of his more out there stuff (which I love) that would not make his upcoming album. Not because of quality but because it does not fit the type of record he wants to release with the studio. I can't wait to play this on the car ride home.

After hearing the 5 leaked tracks... Atlanta, The Other Side, I Want You, What Part of Forever, Language of Love and now this mix tape (all within the past 30 days), it's nice to see an artist writing a buch of music and putting it all out there for their fans to absorb for a change.

Now I just have to wait the 40+ more days until the K-Os mixtape is released!

I'm digging this.

Some parts of his vocal phrasing reminds me of Luther Vandross.

This mix tape. (or more like full length album) is really getting me amped for the new album. I was already amped for it after hearing several tracks from it. "I Want You" "Georgia" and i forget the name of it but the when for the Twlight soundtrack, have all been excellent. This is real strong mixtape. If someone handed this to me and told me it was this new album. I would have believed it and said it was an great album!

I agree!

I am only making assumptions (based on the Rolling Stone article) as to what content will be on the album. Language of Love and Georgia are supposed to be on the album, but they are not found on the mixtape.

I must have spun "Stray Bullets" 5 times yesterday and enjoied it even more on each spin. "I Like It" should be on the radio. His falsetto on Sophistic@ted B!$ch sounds alot like Prince to me. "I'll Kill Her" is just brilliant.

This is a very moody, funky, sexy, emotional, quirky record all wrapped up into one.

I am really loving this release and it is a cover to cover joint for me.

It reminded me of what I used to love about Prince albums.
