Esther Phillips` "Capricorn princess" album

I see it`s finally being released on cd. Is it any good?

Hell yeah! I don't think you can go wrong with any of her Kudu albums. Frankly, this is one of her most underrated one from Kudu, but like all the rest of them, her voice meshed well with the musicians and whoever the producer was, he really let her do her thing the best she could do.

I love her rendition of "Candy" which is from the album.

Oooh, I'll have to get this! Candy is incredible and it's not on the Kudu Years collection I have. She does do a mean rendition of God Bless The Child though (live). I definitely recommend this collection as a good overview of her later career.
