Usher Thinks He's The Next Michael Jackson

First his album flops, then he blames talent shows like Idol, now he's apparently back on top putting in his bid to be the next King of Pop:

"I've been doing this 18 years now and my icon is well on its way. Michael was doing it for 50 years and that's something I'd like to grow towards. At the same time, I am one of a kind, a worldwide pop icon."

Douchebag.

falloff Usher, I have news for you. Nor my grandma, grandpa, mum or dad know who you are, but they surely knew who Mike was me being a fan or not. Is this guy serious?
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Usher reeks of mediocrity and being mediocre doesn't make you anything.

There is no next Michael Jackson.
Usher, just like R.Kelly, has spent most of his career riding the middle instead of being ahead of his competition.
For instance - Michael hired all of the hot producers and made them do different things from what they did on other peoples' records. Teddy Riley's work with MJ, for instance, is far superior to that one groove he sold to most of the artists he produced in the 90s.
Usher takes the latest producers and buys a track from them. That's not very visionary of him.

There are people that don't even know who he is so he needs to stfu. His only claim to fame is being a MJ wannabe and that's why people even like him.

R. Kelly is the KING of mediocre.

It's true. He ruled the middle of the road, never really doing something fantastic. All those uplifting anthemic gospel flavored songs are clones of each other. That ended up being what he rode for the past 15 years.

There will never be another MJ. Usher shouldn't flatter himself. He's just nice for the time being until another male artist comes and takes his place.

and what does R. Kelly have to do with this!? rolleyes R. Kelly isn't to blame for Usher's ONE-dimensional career.

Although I know who Usher is I could not hum a few bars of any one of his songs if my life depended on it. What an idiot!

The ego of all these mediocre talented wanna-bes kills me! He should want to be "Usher the icon" not "the next Michael Jackson." Unfortunately, he and many others simply don't have that level of talent or that genius undefinable "it" factor that MJ and Prince have! confused
