Former Temptation Ollie Woodson, Dead at 58

Former Temptation, Ali "Ollie" Woodson lost his battle with Leukemia today at the age of 58. A native of Detroit, Woodson was best known as the lead vocal on The Temptations' hit single, "Treat Her Like A Lady," from the For Lovers Only album which he co-wrote and co-produced in 1984. After leaving the Temptations in 1996, Woodson continued to perform as a solo artist as well as with Ali-Ollie Woodson & the Emperors of Soul. In 2009, Woodson was one of the Motown artist who performed at Urban Network Magazine's salute to Motown's 50th Anniversary, honoring Berry Gordy's legacy. At the time of this posting, no funeral plans have been made
