This is really New York City R&B vs LA R&B of the 80's.

I'll take "Head To Toe" 4 the win. It's a Full Force classic tale of beauty...(the keys vocals) and the streets (the hard ass drums, funky rhythm guitar) wink

"Head To Toe".That song still packs a punch headbang

I liked "Girlfriend" in 1988,but it sounds really dated these days.

For personal reasons, I choose Pebbles. I'm not a huge Lisa Lisa fan....never was. They had good songs, but I'm not crazy about them.

LOL.

You never liked "Girlfriend"? Or you don't like Pebbles in general?

I finally made up mind after listening to both songs continuously and I'm going with Lisa Lisa as well....

I saw Pebs on MTV at her son's 16th party. She looks exactly the same.

Her son's not the one that got caught with his pants down and flashed all over the net, is it?

No....I don't think so. Her son is the big guy that had Kanye West at his birthday party.
