Unless an artist writes and produces their whole album without any help; co-writing and co-production really don't mean a whole lot nowadays. I was at the library recently looking at CDs and Rihanna is listed as executive producer on her 'Rated R' album...yeah, that's all I'm going to say about that. I like Amerie and hope her new project does well, but she's competing in a market where sexual imagery from a female artists will sell 50 times more copies than musical artistry unfortunately.
