It's two boys for Celine Dion!

The singer, 42, announced on her website Friday that she's expecting twin sons, due in November.

"Celine first announced the upcoming new additions to the Angelil-Dion family back in May, and now she just revealed that she is expecting twin boys," read a statement. "Congratulations to the happy family!"

Dion and her husband Rene Angelil are already parents to 9-year-old son Ren-Charles.

Dion underwent six in-vitro fertilization treatments, staying in New York City for a month and also getting acupuncture, before getting pregnant with twins. Rene-Charles was also conceived by in vitro after six years of trying.

Last year, Dion revealed to Oprah Winfrey that she had suffered a miscarriage after another IVF attempt.

"We're living the reality of the majority of couples who face these procreation techniques," Angelil told a French-Canadian newspaper in November.

The Grammy-winning singer spoke to Us Weekly recently, before learning of her pregnancy. "We are doing IVF and hoping for the best, " Dion told Us at the time. "My greatest joy would be to announce I'm pregnant!"

Why didn't she adopt if she wanted more kids so badly? It's faster and it's probably cheaper to buy a baby than pay for all those fertility treatments. I guess people just don't like the idea of raising a child that isn't made form their own sperm/eggs. I hope the babies are healthy though and don't end up with Down Syndrome because of Celine's age.

I don't know if you're from the USA, but it's difficult AND expensive to adopt a child here. There are strict laws, so people have to go through so much bureaucratic red tape. I've heard that people spend lots of time and money on adoption in the US. Nowadays, the trend is to just go overseas and adopt a child. This is expensive too, but it's much faster. I guess people believe that since adoption is so difficult, they might as well spend money on fertility treatments so they can get a kid that looks like them.

Since Celine is using fertility drugs, maybe the babies won't have health problems because the parents are older. She probably feels like it worked the last time, so if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm just glad she's honest about it, unlike many other celebs (J-LO). For some strange reason, they don't want to admit that they're using fertility drugs too. They must really think the public is stupid enough to believe that a woman over 35 naturally got pregnant with twins.
