Now you're just stanning way too hard. You know damn good well that Amerie didn't come up with the sound she had before Beyonce jacked it!! That was all Rich Harrison.

OK!!!falloff

and how is being a co-producer and playing an instrument more than what other artists do? I can name more than 20 artists that have done this on multiple occasions. and I'm not trying to be shady, just honest.

in the mainstream RB? yeah good luck finding 3.

Sorry dude why do you think the bitch ass got let go? do the research i know we all think that females that look good cant have brains too unless they work with Prince but SHE and RICH came up with it, and it was more her than him, he went where the money was and she let him go.

Chileeee! Amerie let Rich go? Lies! He walked out and went with Beyonce ($$$). Isn't Amerie the one that wants him back!?!? lmao and how do you know if it was more her than him? Isn't Rich a producer that has been around since 1999?

Amerie has released her new single, "Who's Gonna Love You Now."

The single is produced by The Inkredibles and is the first single from the singer's upcoming album, Cymatica Vol. 1. The record is named, according to Amerie, after the Greek word for wave, which also encompasses the study of visible sound and vibration.

In an interview, the singer, who recently became engaged to her longtime manager, revealed that she has learned to play guitar and will be incorporating her new skills into the project.

Amerie's last album, In Love and War, was released last year.

Sorry he went with the money he didnt walk out, he went and took what was created mutually and used it on someone that would make him more dough case closed. She said she would work with him again, that doesnt mean she is losing sleep over it, because be honest, what the fuck is he doing? And the sound created on 1thing was both of them, and was more evident on the "Because I love it" album and that album had no involvement from Mr. Harrison, and on the last two albums she is the executive producer not a co. Case closed, you dont dig her than move on, but lets not talk about Rich Harrison as if he was the George Martin of RB, get real.

well lets see All the cassie threads started over the last 2 years NONE by me, PCD havent had an album and again no threads started by me. I guess posting about new albums from Heart, Norah Jones,Ryan Adams, the Jayhawks, etc... well those dont get responded cause well, lack of "bullshit" in those MUSICIAN threads, and musicians outside of ones that dont even record anymore rarely get posted here. As for a-ha, well, one of the top bands for 25 years, that acutually do new music, that has grown, just as much as their counterparts and more so from that era. And there aint no debating that, there tour this year in more places than Any artist goes too is proof of it, and they havent even cancelled a show due to "exhaustion" or had to have injections to go on to play.

then open the book and read (if u can) the credits where she wrote and produced all the tracks, i guess we only read that when its an artist "we like", but thats how the old Double standard org bullshit goes down.

So?? Just about every main artist the executive producer of their album along with the executive of their label or main producer. Its not a big deal, love and it doesn't make her a good artist as you're trying to push.

Hey whatever dude, and your responses are played and like motherfucking clockwork they appear, "oh an Amerie thread" here come the usual players, oh and the "flop" talk and the shes shit talk etc....but then we see the usual players talking on "genius" originals like LadyGaga who has stolen so many things the bitch should be doing time by now, one album and shes called the messiah

So sales make an artist, good way to think. If she was indie then we would be saying holy shit she sold that much, i mean your tossing numbers that are meaningless, Christina Aguilera will release her new album and sell ten times that week one, and so she is "a better artist" Tpain sells more than Prince so hes better, i mean is that the discussion

Unless an artist writes and produces their whole album without any help; co-writing and co-production really don't mean a whole lot nowadays. I was at the library recently looking at CDs and Rihanna is listed as executive producer on her 'Rated R' album...yeah, that's all I'm going to say about that. I like Amerie and hope her new project does well, but she's competing in a market where sexual imagery from a female artists will sell 50 times more copies than musical artistry unfortunately. It's all gravy because I still jam to 'Swagback'...that's my jam. music

Her last album sold less than 13K in its first week. She had the misfortune of inking a contract with Def Jam, who seemingly did very little toward promoting her.
