Was shocked to see you voting for anything by The Cure. I thought you totally hated them! Not that I'm complaining. Glad to see they placed so high.

I guess you could call me a lapsed fan: loved them at one time, but can't work up much enthusiasm for them now. Some things from my teens/twenties have stuck with me, but they're not one of them. However, I will always have time for the opening 1-2 punch of Plainsong & Pictures of You, and I like Disintegration's title track a lot too. I actually still really like the debut album as well, with all those punchy pop songs that remind me a bit of the buzzcocks & wire.
