Craig David- Who Am I (produced by Timbaland)

this is probably the 5th track by Craig's sessions with Timbaland and Jim Beanz to leak these past 2 weeks

Meh...sounds like some average run of the mill throwaway Timbaland tried out and then kinda set aside. It just does not sound like it has life.

I kinda like it

But I think that could be why all the stuff he did with Timbaland and Jim Beanz is being leaked these past couple of days, or just to create a buzz

Yep 4 tracks have leaked these past week
Who Am I (produced by Timbaland) leaked today
Like I Never Left (produced by Timbaland) leaked earlier yesterday
Don't Think So (produced by Jim Beanz) leaked Tuesday
Going My Way (produced by Jim Beanz) leaked last week

then Body Talkin' (again, produced by Jim Beanz) leaked a couple of months ago

I feel like he needs to go back to the drawing board and get back with Mark Hill

oh and this was released on BBC 1Xtra on Monday. It's a Bassline track

an uncomplete version was floating around for awhile but the completed version was released this week

Craig David's at his best when he creates garage songs that are mixed with R&B. I wonder why his music has changed so much. I guess it's because the record label believes pop music will sell better. I hope he'll be able to go back to his original sound for his next album.

Agreed. I remember having a bunch of Craig David's early stuff on cassette back in the day. Im from the US, and no one here knew who he was. I have a buddy who is big into the UK pop scene, and he thought I'd dig him. I loved it. I imported the UK version of Born To Do It. I played the shit outta that cd.

Love the new tracks. Im not a huge Timbaland fan, but this is some of his better work lately.
