i fruckin love this song.

Timmy, I've been telling people for years that Huey Lewis & Ray Parker Jr. beat-bitten the hell out M's Pop Muzik. No one could understand until they heard THAT track.

Ray Parker got a chance, years later and sued Huey. Ray sued Lewis, because he violated the terms of the original, "Ghostbusters" law suit, by talking about it on a late night talk show. Apparently, that lawsuit had a non disclosure clause, which Huey violated.

i dont know why. but I always play this song and VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR back to back. they just go together for some reason- even though they sound nothing alike.

That is more likely because Pop Muzik & Video Killed The Radio Star predicted the direction the music industry was going to go, at least for the 1980's anyway.

I've always loved this track. I still have the 45.
I never made the Ghostbusters connection though. Good catch.

This has always reminded me of Kraftwerk on some levels.
