In this clip MJ says: "Me. I'm the King Of Pop" then he puts his right hand out to Usher and says "Bitch Please!"

Roll the tape.

Other than being delusional and having bad taste in women (Pre-Grace) Usher isn't a bad guy.

Let's give him the "Foster Sylvers Career of Merit Award".

He is entitled to two free car washes a year on the days that Foster is managing the car wash. And he gets to be on every red carpet appearance of every awards show for the remainder of Joan Rivers life.

You know whats funny about this whole thing?

In ALL of MJ's life, he never said he's the next Sammy Davis/Fred Astaire/Jackie Wilson, hell he didn't even remotely compare himself to them,,,only that he drew his influence/inspirations from them when IN FACT he became bigger than all of them combined.

Thats the sad thing about Usher(and Kanye and all of those POOR unfortunate souls) they became content, while MJ stayed pushing himself to the limit untill he died, literally.

As the OP, I'll let folks know I was not posting this as "bait" for the Org. It's Flusher's quote, not mine; not my conjecture.

He can be one of your favorites, but as noted in this thread, he is the King of one thing only: Mediocrity.

But you are right - he will never be the next MJ, no one will be that - ever.

That's not true MJ wanted that song badly from Pharrell & The Neptunes & Usher won it.

No, those songs were rejected...in fact, I don't think Michael ever got to hear the demos Pharrell and Chad sent him

well that's not what Usher said. He said MJ tried & wanted that song and Pharrell decided to give it to him instead. I heard him say that in an interview out of his own mouth. He said MJ was willing to pay top dollar or his people were for it. So I guess U calling Usher a liar?

I know the songs that Pharrell produced for Justin Timberlake for his first album. He wrote for MJ and they were never heard or rejected. Maybe that is what U heard.

Yeah, Usher is a liar. lol

In fact, Pharrell was really disappointed that MJ didn’t accept any of his songs, he was disappointed , so to say that MJ begged pharrell to give him the song “ you don’t have to call “ is baseless, he was initially offered the song but rejected it , Plus nearly all the songs on timbelake’s album were rejected by MJ.

While pharrell would refuse to give a song the MJ( who’s worldwide icon) while give it usher, that doesn’t make sense.

Then he was offered the song “ what a guy gotta do” , and MJ rejected, he said that “ The song is good but at the end its not for me”

Then finally pharrell did what he normally does, taking the songs he offered from MJ’s garbage can and give them to those wannabes to record.

Y'all being too sensitive about Usher's comments...lol...Folks act like dude called MJ a motherfucker and then stole his white glove...But as much criticism as I've given Usher over the years (I always thought he was a bit overrated and that 8701 was a better album than Confessions), saying that his latest album is a flop is a bit misleading...

Hell, I thought it was going to do worst than it did...Even the Will I Am-produced single I don't care for was the no. 1 song in the country right now...There are plenty of reasons to shit on Usher....But we don't have to make up shit to bash him....
