Sounds of Blackness - Optimistic (featuring the intro)

I remember this was my song of 1991! The song always bring me back memories whenever I play it. If you remember when the video came out, they played that interlude you hear in the beginning before they get to the song. nod

Nearly 20 years later, still fresh. cool

I have the cassingle somewhere. hmmm It's definitely inspirational and sometimes caused me to get teary-eyed.

This is the perfect example of how music can lift you up. Every time I hear this song, I not only get chills, but whatever is weighing heavy on me at the time, just goes away.

A live version...

...so folks can get the visual element of the group.

One of the more interesting Jam/Lewis productions.

I don't know either, but isn't that Ann Nesby's daughter and Paris' mother singing the 2nd part of the first verse?
