That's why I'm glad I recorded as many episodes off of CMT when they were showing reruns in the 1990s as I could. I recorded 4 eight hour VHS tapes with commercials cut out and re-recorded them all onto DVDs when I got I DVD recorder. The sound quality may be a little low on some of them but at least they all have the original music that aired. "WKRP In Cincinnati" is one of my favorite TV shows and the music is just as great as the storyline to the episodes. It just wouldn't be the same with generic music. It wouldn't feel like the era. I might have to retract my previous statement.
It seems they have re-released the Beavis & Butthead DVD sets and included the music videos. (at least some of them) Which is cool that they've done it, but also really annoying considering I bought them the first time around. Damn. |
