Last night, while I was talking to a friend online, he gave me the link to the GLEE version of "Home" performed by Kristin Chenoweth (sp?). Her version with the cast of "Glee" reminds me of what a glee club would've sounded like singing this (CORNY! lol)

Anyway, this took me back to the versions of the songs as done by Stephanie Mills, Diana Ross and Whitney Houston. Now of the three, who you think did it best?

Personally I think Ms. Houston overdid it. I think I know another reason why her voice faltered (*coughoversingingcough*). I prefer Stephanie's personally. It's HER signature song.

But Stephanie Mills originally sung that tune and according to the audio of the youtube clip she brought the house down every night with that song!

Whitney's was too slow and though she showed her fantastic early vocal ability and promise from the record industry it was just too "changed" with the lyrics for my personal opinion.
