I F*ing love that you picked this album over the holy trinity of What's Going On/Let's Get It On/I Want You. It's such a master class work of funk/soul.

As much as I'd love the world to hear it, I'm rather glad it's such a lesser known album. Makes it feel more personal. Have you heard the two disc re-release of it from a few years back?

(Especially "Fair Warning", I love how it segued back to "Real Man", which really was the particular end of that side of the record, the last track filled up side B.)
