When Is Clive Davis Going To Pull The Plug on Whitney's Tour?

I don't own any of her music. Never even bought a single, but I've always respected her gift and what she accomplished. But damn already! It's more of an embarrassment instead of a comeback tour. Pull the freakin plug Clive! Or maybe Whitney has to come to her senses and realize either she's not ready or may never be back. Her cords sound jacked up for days.

Apparently, there's new video footage of Ms. Houston killing (not in a good way) "I Will Always Love You."

When she pays back the money he invested into hyping the album.

Yeah, I thought of that too but doesn't he risk not making money at all from word spreading that she's not worth the admission? Eventually people are going to stop buying tickets to her shows. I know I would want a refund or not buy a ticket to begin with after seeing these previews of what's to come. I hear you though, I'm sure he paid a pretty penny on that hype machine behind "The Big Comeback." I guess he'll milk it as far as he can.....

I'm sure she has some of her own bills to pay too, it's just a tuff situation all around.

Makes no wonder why it doesn't take much to see that Nippy's heart wasn't in it; the album nor the tour.

Her whole demeanor toward both screams "I can't wait till I get this shit over with", BOREDOM in a single word.

He and AEG will keep her out there until they recoup.

In the meantime her career and credibility go down the tubes and they will promote a new Artist to replace Whitney.

They will probably find a Brooke Hogan type of singer and get her geared up.

It's like Cash For Clunkers for singers.

Well, I for one have never been so interested in seeing a Whitney Houston concert until now.

I just hope Clive isn't stupid enough to come out publicly and continue to call her "the greatest singer in the world". lol

Well not being a Whitney fan makes it easy for me to comment on her. Though i did respect her vocally back in the day, she never hit me, because of her lack of involvement in the creative process. I mean she or her team picked really good songs that were never hits and Whitney spun them for herself in a few circumstances, so i always felt she was a good singer but thats where my cred for her ended, kind of like a Female Rb Sinatra for her day. But Whitney like others had issues and those things derailed her plain and simple, everyone can say that others stole her "shine" or Mariah took her place, but Whitney just let it go in a "puff of smoke"

He has to do that to promote Whitney as a "Brand."

To be honest, I tried to get into her, but I realize I couldn't. shrug There was nothing on her last album that I liked even the one I kept bragging about on Twitter I lost interest in that song as well. As for the tour, bad move.

though i have her early stuff, i just lost interest in her in the 90's, and i just felt that this album was just going her sounding like others, or an attempt at that. So i stayed away from it, kind of like the way i should have stayed away from Lionel's last 2 albums.

I think she could still have a career...but touring is out of the question wink

She can still make albums every three years or so,working with sympathetic producers who can hide her vocal flaws and make her sound decent.

I think people saying that Whitney shouldn't be on tour are misguided. there is certainly a huge demand to see her. I myself are going to see her on thursday; knowing exactly what to expect.
Everyone knows that she can't sing like she used to. People are going to have a great time seeing WHITNEY HOUSTON! lol
I for one, never thought i'd see the day that i'd get to see her live.

I'm not expecting Bodyguard vocals when I go on thursday; but I am expecting to have a great night with flashes of vocal brilliance.

Her album isn't that bad. Her sound though, does appear to be stuck in the late 80s.

I think she could too....as a crack ho. I heard she lost either all or a lot of her teeth while she was doing crack. They say the best blowjobs ever are given by toothless people. She needs to pull those false teeth out and go to work gumming dicks. She could make a fortune. lol

If that were to happen then she would probably want some mentoring from Alexyss Tylor.
