Saw PFunk last night play without longtime musical director Gary Shider. Great show. Opened with Pinnochio Theory-it was on from there. Without Gary, it was like being at a family reunion where the cuz who organizes everthing gets sick. George held it down as the elder. Best Bounce to This since New Orleans. Micheal Hampton and company played a very playful, relaxed Maggott Brain.

It will be interseting to see who takes the handoff from PFunk and runs it for the next generation. George's great-grandson came on to prove that spitting raps ain't as easy as it looks.
