Mariah & Jermaine Back Together In The Studio 
April 10, 2010 Following the cancellation of her remix album "Angels Advocate", Mariah Carey has begun cooking up completely new material for her next effort. On Friday (April 9th), she updated fans on Twitter by posting a picture of herself with Jermaine Dupri in his Atlanta studio. Along with the photo, the songstress wrote, "To all the lambs in the land... finally! Me and Jermash are in his studio reliving the splendor working on new ish." In another post, she shared, "This song is coming out quite nice I must say. LYM." Beside taking it to the micro-blogging site, Mariah also hosted a live chat on Ustream to reveal other detailed info about the album. The "We Belong Together" hitmaker said she wrote the new songs herself and also tagged Bryan-Michael Cox for the production process. Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox are two of the producers who helped Mariah Carey making her albums "Charmbracelet", "The Emancipation of Mimi" and "E=MC2". i actually really like her stuff with JD, aside from his horrifying remix for All I Want For Christmas 
that mess aside, some of my most favorites tracks from her have been of collaborations between the two of them: Last Kiss Thanks For Nothing Long Ago Always Be My Baby (and it's remixes) My All/Stay Awhile The One (and It's remix) You Had Your Chance Get Your Number Love Story i just didn't want him on Memoirs because i liked the idea of her & Dream doing that whole project together. | |

[Edited 4/10/10 11:33am] No, he's not. They're not together and JD told MTV news that he's not working on her album and he just worked on the single "Nothing". They're not fucking. Just friends. Watch in a couple of months they stop talking. It happens in all friendships after break ups. | |

in that picture, it appears that she's had all the vertebrae in her neck removed and he is holding her head up and it's just kind of lolling and rolling around
anyway, she needs to take a few years off. she's suffering from the same problem Janet has this decade. instead of following up every massive FAIL with another hastily thrown-together FAIL, just take a break and regroup, re-focus, make people miss you or at least make people interested in what you might come back with. give people a chance to forget how much you are currently sucking instead of these desperate attempts to prove 'em wrong year after year. | |

Both of them together is one of the worst collaborations ever. Oh and RWU and So Much Betta are purchased beats, not JD's production. WYN is dull and So Excited sounds like a basketball game. I like some of the stuff JD did with MC. I think she works well with his whole crew (Johnta and B. Cox). | |
