Not-so-shocking-admission: Ricky is allergic to vaginas. These pics were an obvious giveaway.

I made a GIF from that first photo a while ago lol

Well at least they're keeping in shape. I mean, not every dude can pull off speedos.

Ricky is from Puerto Rico... where gay men are being mutilated and killed because of the homophobia that runs rampant there. This is my theory why he waited until now to go public with his sexuality. Its dangerous to be openly gay there, my cousin killed himself because he was gay and my family tortured him because of it.

I've heard that homosexuals have a hard time in Jamaica, but I didn't know about P.R. Are hate crimes against homosexuals common in the Caribbean period? Do lesbians have a hard time, or is it just gay men?

Things are changing, but slowly. In the english speaking caribbean countries i think its worse than in the spanish. Because we (the spanish speaking caribbeans) have always taken homosexuality just a little bit different than the brit descendents. You could be an extremely femme man and not have anything happen to you because everyone knows youre the village marica and people joke and have fun with you at your expense and you kinda live with it. I dont think that could happen in the English caribbean countries. If youre butch youre expected to get married and have kids and if u like to fuck guys in the ass occasionally as long as not too many people know about it youre fine. The problem in countries like PR & DR is when "straight" gay men mess around with openly gay men. Whenever the "straight" gay man gets caught or gets embarrased by something someone ends up murdered because they call themselves "defending their honor" all the while denying their homosexuality. Happens unfortunately all the time.
Change it one more time..

that is so sad. disbelief I've often wondered if european influence negatively impacted how homosexuals were perceived and ultimately live in the carribean as well as south american and african nations. I think racism often goes hand in hand with sexual discrimination.

nod That very thing happens here in NYC quite often as well, by many of the men that come from those countries. Every summer, you hear of slashings committed in Brooklyn's Prospect Park by Caribbean men, subsequent to receiving oral sex from "gay" men that they actively solicited. These Caribbean guys will cruise the park on their bikes, wearing spandex shorts and such in search of sex, then once obtained, their sense of machismo, guilt and shame leads them to slash their victims with box-cutters and the like. These guys fail to realize; they're just as gay as the guy they're assaulting. It's a disturbing, ongoing, trend.

Wow, I really haven't been keeping up on my own city, but I will say that I've heard that attitude often among latinos. When it comes to homosexual sex, the receiver is the gay guy, the giver is not, and any prison time is NEVER mentioned. Go figure...

damn y'all cold. you know a lot of that stuff is forced. You've got to give a dude the benefit of the doubt. lol

I'm of the opinion a dude doesn't turn gay in prison,,,he gay before he goes in there,,,just doesn't have to hide it for the duration of his sentence.

that's what I was thinking. Where did those babies come from? I've read he didn't do the turkey baster thing but I'm not sure who the mother is. One of the babies looks like him so he must have stuck it up in there (veejayjay) or something. confuse oh well.

It was indeed a surrogate mother via artificial insemination. This isn't really news as it was widely reported, IIRC.
