Thanx smile

Yeah, I'm partial to the 2nd one too(mainly because it sparked many intersting discussions in here) but knowing myself, I'll probably get both.

Which book is better, ya'll?

I'll be passing by Barnes & Noble next week and I wanna get outta there with a Sly Stone book. The former got mentioned here alot but the reviews in Amazon are not encouraging hmmm

Harle!
You should wait for this one!!!
www.slystonebook.com

It's gonna be the absolutly definite biography of Sly Stone.
It will be out next.

I've read both of the others and none of them I was quite
satisfied with .
"I want to take you higher" was just basic stuff I already knew
and the other book is just to negative.
It's just rumoured drugstorys and not that much about Sly's music
and genious.

So I'm definitly looking forward to
"Thank You - The Definitive Biography of Sly & The Family Stone"
by Edwin and Arno Konings.

After review, it may be a good idea to add it to my Sly collection. We need NEW material also!
