Christina's "Not Herself Tonight"

neonlimelight.com:
The big news is out!

Christina Aguilera will be returning to music with her new single, “Not Myself Tonight,” the first single from her long-awaited album, Bionic.

While the days-long countdown on Christina’s official website didn’t end with fans being able to hear the tune, she did give us a smokin’ hot single cover to drool over until the song is out, presumably in less than two days, as another countdown to “more big news” went up directly after the other hit zero.

The black-and-white cover shows Christina back to her dirrty self, dressed in sexy patent leather and drawn on devil horns and tail.

Aguilera is working with a wide array of producers for Bionic, which was originally slated for a March release, including Australian pop star Sia, Tricky Stewart, and M.I.A.

Is this chile EVER herself?

She's doing what she wants. Whether she looks like Madonna, or Judy Holliday, repeats are bound to happen. It doesn't mean she's purposely copying someone. However, Madonna had a LOT of different looks (as did Janet), so a repeat is bound to happen somewhere. Although they always said Madonna looked and tried to act like Marilyn. How the hell do you act like a dead person in 1980something? It's all nonsense. Let the girl do her thing, and let's just enjoy the music.

Stripped is such a good album! Back 2 Biscuits was horrid though. I'm glad she's changing it up like she always does. I'm interested to hear this single. When does it come out? The title is giving me cunty and catchy.

I dont agree. Stripped was way too overbearing for a second album. I got bored halfway through.

Fighter
Im Ok
Dirrty
Loving Me 4 Me

Were nice tracks

I liked half of both discs on Back To Basics...it was not so much as refreshing but alot more experimental that her previous eforts.

Trouble
Makes Me Wanna Pray
Candyman
Still Dirrty
Aint No Other Man

Those were great highlights to me, however I thought she experimented TOO MUCH on different sounds through the whole thing and it got confusing trying to put in 40's music and hip hop beats together and then try to throw in some musical like tracks...very off, but the melodies held it together in my opinion.

I totally adore Get Mine, Get Yours on the Stripped album. I love the Stripped album, I hate mostly Dirrty, that´s just a plain, screamy song with no melody. Back to Basics is great as well.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I think that was Stripped. That's how she advertised that album.

I think Stripped is a really consistent album - all the tracks flow perfectly. I agree that there are a few tracks that either sound similar (maybe it's her voice) but overall it's good album. I love "I'm Ok", she should sing like that more often. I also love the last track on that album. She covered a wide range of genres. Now Back to Basics made me hurl ill I think Xtina tries too hard to be edgy and different that it leaves a bad taste in a my mouth. The whole Hollywood classic look has been done before but to tie it with jazzy musical-esque was blah to me. And the whole image changing is so forced that it doesn't come off naturally like how Janet, Madonna and even Britney changed their image.
