One of the greatest movies ... EVER!!

Little know fact, Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince would supposed to be the main stars of this film.

I wonder how that would have turned out.

Although I like Jazzy Jeff and Will as a duo.....I don't think it would've been as good

It wouldn't have been successful. Will was too squeaky clean. I don't think he would have fit well in Kid's role, nor Jazzy Jeff fitting into Play's role. Just wouldn't have worked.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

This is back when yo ass had to be in shape if you were going to a party. dancing jig All them damn new jack dances. It's 2010, so its about time for all that shit to make its comeback. I bet all these wanna be thug ass, fat ass, lazy ass kids will start losing some damn weight if it does, plus they'll actually learn how to frikkin' dance and be exposed to some great, fun, energetic music.

*ends old man rant for the day*

falloff I've said the same thing for years. The reason kids today are more obese than ever is because their music is too slow to shake the fat off their asses. And with no slammin' clubs anymore, the buttons are starting to pop off my pants too. lol

Dancing became gay in the early 90s, ya know. rolleyes When everyone was trying to be thugs and gangstas. Then all the dances became either slow, rigid or just plain stupid.

That's their problem, they're too concerned with something being "gay". They just need to get some good dick and they'll be alright. lol

I can't think of neither the name of the song or the name of that band, but the song is featured in House Party, and there was a music video made with them featuring Robin Harris, AJ and Tisha were also in the video.

Help me out guys.

Great memories! I bought the Trilogy (Yeah that's right!) on DVD. Anyone remember Class Act??

If you watch the "Funhouse" video here, at about 1:48, you see photos of Michael Jackson, Madonna and Prince being tossed away. Looks like SOTT era. Never noticed that before

Man, you weren't cool back in the day if you didn't partake in a rap or dance battle. It was like a rite of passage.

A classic. How about my sixteen year old and my seven year old both love this movie, especially the first one. I'm glad Will and Jeff turned it down, because it would not have been the same. I wish that Tisha, AJ, Martin, and the guys from Full Force could have been on "The Monique Show" too. Now that would have really been good to have all the "main" characters show up for the reunion special.
