Kanye is babbling again

Kanye West relaunched his blog recently, and posted some ruminations on death, and what it means to be creative. "I never feel like I'm not the underdog. I never felt completely comfortable. I'm tormented by the need to create. With the loss of [Alexander] McQueen I feel like we lost one of the faces of modern creativity's Mount Rushmore...I know how it feels when the night demons come. We can't let them control our hands and feet....I was blessed with the opportunity to bring my and others dreams to life. It's like performing magic or something. It's surreal. We bring the unrealistic to reality...When I wake up in the morning and brush my teeth and look in the mirror it's like I see Michael [Jackson] and my mom and Malcolm [X]...Who's that African in the background Mom? Oh, he created the original layouts for the pyramids, but he was written out of the history books and his MTV award was given to 'Aliens.'"

Seriously.neutral It's tired and old.

I know Kanye can come off as an asshole but there's no denying that he's a brilliant artist.

...which is doubly scandalous since the original Ridley Scott movie was far superior to the sequel.

negative. hmph! Alien was good but Aliens was better. Too much hanging out and chillin' in the first one, plus the alien just looked like a dude in a rubber suit.

Kanye has a huge ego, but its justified. He has proven himself musically and ,unfortunately, he has also proven himself to be very outspoken and opinionated. It was sad what happened with Taylor, but its not the worst that has happened in music award history (or in music, period). But, back to this thread, this is Kanye. We shouldn't be surprised by anything he says or does.
Personally, I think he one of the best rapper/producer out today.

Do i think he needs to chill with the MJ and Malcolm X comparisons? Sure. But nobody is surprised by Kanye's ego. Is a a tad dramatic? Of course, but he's an artist.

At the end of the day, though, I like the sentiment in this one.
