As "in your face" as the lyrics are, I am glad she doesn't appear to be that scantily clad in this one (I mean, for her). It appears to have a lighter tone.

I know I said I dislike this song, but surprisingly enough, I liked it when she did it live on Pepsi Smash (I only saw half but the live version is less club and more rock/funk).

I remember reading somewhere that she was learning how to play the drums so maybe that's why she wanted a set in the video.

It's really pathetic now.

Well, I remember seeing Rihanna wearing a Grace Jones t-shirt, so I think she definitely looks up to her as a style icon or whatever. I just wish she'd own her stuff in the way Grace did. You don't have to have the best voice, just own it in the way Grace, Stevie Nicks, etc and others did/do.

Everything she rocks to the concept of her song and videos is just a recreation.
