No, it's not. You probably haven't even listened to all of Jaent's work. She's an all around talent. Unlike her confused sister.

You sound like one of those idiots that said she wouldn't make after Dream Street or the ones that bitched and moaned that she's over when she's still gracing your computer screen.

You could've just said that they aren't talented lol Plus that article Latoya did was her giving people the tea on her brothers. Not about her.

I actually think they're all talented, just not as much as you know who lol

Jackie, Randy, and Marlon are all great writers, and Marlon is one hell of a dancer

Tito is that dude on the guitar, and Jermaine.....good singer, songwriter, bass player, and he can do some damage with a jar of Blue Magic Hair Conditioner lol

Rebbie, is a good singer, but she's always seemed like the one who didn't want to be a big star, she just enjoyed it and that was that.

LaToya.....I don't know lol

Janet is a great singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer as we all know

and Michael.....The most talented of all lol

Fixed.

What a stupid thing to say and an insult to Janet.

Janet worked hard to get to where she is without Jimmy and Terry. Yes, they made a great team but it's not only Jimmy and Terry's doing. They can thank Janet.

Ummm, no. Are u relying on wikipedia figures? These are her sales/shipments. Where did Control sell 14 million? Everyone knows that Kanet did not become a worldwide mame until the janet. album. Control and RN hardly made a dent overseas. PLEASE do not try to boost her accomplioshments by posting fake sales. She has had a wonderful, successful career. You don't need to make up fake numbers to support that. confused

truopian is right.

Control did sell 14 million units worldwide. Her record label stated this before.
janet. sold more than 20 million worldwide. Rhythm Nation stands at about 16 million worldwide. and of course, The Velvet Rope at 10 million worldwide.

O, r u talkin about the press release for the Number Ones album? I know what ur talkin about, but Madonna had the same thing, as did Michael, and her own fans were saying that the sales were bloated. Madonna's label announced over 200 million albums, which is technically impossible, even according to Madonna fans. So I take that with a grain of salt.

All the forums with chart experts offer the numbers I posted here. None of them have claimed the janet. album is all the way at 20 mil, and that's y i posted that. Even MJ's sales r lower than the bloated #s I see all over the place. Its said a lot that Janet did not break into overseas markets until the janet. album. Hence, the low sales for Control and RN. Those 2 albums had little success over seas, failing to even chart in many contries. That's y I'm wary of 14 mil for CNTRL. Where did an extra 7 mil come from?

... maybe the label included single sales... hmmm

No, I'm not talking about her press release even If I was it's affiliated with Janet's official site.

The janet. has sold 20 million albums worldwide. If you've seen Janet's access granted there's a record label head that said that album sold 14 million worldwide. These are correct figures. I've heard two different things on Rhythm Nation that it sold more than 14 million or 16 million. But I'm not sure. There was also some fan game thing on her site and it stated that Control has sold 14 million albums worldwide as the correct answer. No one's trying to fabricate Janet's success. If anything it's always being down played by many.

I love talkin about #s, but i do like accuracy. I used to try to introduce those big #s, but a lot of chart experts were calling me a fanatic and explaining why i was wrong, and they gave me these smaller #s and broke down where it sold what. So i'll try to see the breakdown for 14 mil for Control, because I really can't figure out how Control sold 6.5 million outside of the US.

I'll get back to u on that... biggrin

My #'s are accurate. Big numbers? Lol. I have no reason to lie to boost Janet up. She's already considered one of the best selling artists in the world. The 7th most successful artist of Billboard’s Hot 100 All-Time Artists, 3rd female, 2nd African-American, and 1st African-American female. This is all fact, not opinion.

Her label's statement > others.

Michael's label has backed up the 104 mil claim for Thriller! Is that a fact too? lol

I agree that Janet is huge on her own. But Mimi, who has sold more than Janet, has fans bloating up her sales. Madonna- is the biggest selling female artist of all time, and her fans who bloat her sales. So u have to excuse me... lol

Madonna isn't the biggest selling artist of all time rolleyes that's Celine Dion.

Idc for others. I'm stating Janet's #'s based off what I read.

Madonna is undisputedly the biggest female artist of all time and is currently the biggest solo artist in the world. UNDISPUTED! lol

Anyway, I'll get back to u on the janet #s lata. I'll consult the "experts."
