Ok mdiscover, you found a rare picture of her profile, but I still do not agree. For a good 20 years, with all of her promo pictures, she had smaller eyelids, then all of a sudden these gigantic ones appear in 2005-2007, which are still larger than they are in that photo of her at 16. I first noticed the difference during the first "Why Did I Get Married," and it was especially obvious during her interview with Larry King. Her lids now "half-open" are larger than they used to be when they were closed. These pictures are not photoshopped:

This:

Does not look like this:

At least not to me. You, of course, see differently. shrug

You're trying so hard and it's sad falloff

If Janet underwent any eyelid surgery like you're suggesting then her lazy eye would've disappeared. All you're doing is embarrassing yourself by posting pictures of Janet from different angles in which her eyes all look the same.

2008

Try again!!

EDIT- plus you don't make a bit of sense!! you're suggesting she added more skin to her eyelid lol

I may be wrong about the date. 2005 is probably too early. I don't keep up with Janet's timeline. All I know is, I noticed a change during the Tyler Perry film, and knew for sure the difference was there during Larry King. And I'm not posting sensationalized angles. What I see is obvious, and on both of her eyes, not just one.

But anyway, why are you so defensive, and thus offensive? This shouldn't even be a debate like this. I understand speaking for your favorite artist. I relate to that. But I have not insulted you, or Janet, just by stating my observation. Anytime someone describes Janet as anything less than a "fantastic singing, beautiful queen of the earth," you jump to attack and tell people "they are trying too hard, or are sad," as if you're not. Your responses are getting ridiculous. disbelief I'm not "hating" on Janet. Matter of fact, I really like the way her lids look in recent pictures.

And for your information, since I was certain you hadn't heard of this type of cosmetic procedure, the surgery is called Blepharoplasty. You keep bringing up some lazy eye that I've never seen, which is something that is actually fixed by this operation. lol Quote:

Her nose looks different all the time.

I think this is due to her weight fluctuating over the years. During the 'AFY' era - it looked really narrow and plastic but during DJ - it looked fine.

That is true. Regardless of whatever is different on Janet's face, the result has always looked great.

Are you guys really debating the amount of plastic surgery somebody in the bizz has had? falloff Just assume that everyone's had it to some degree and move on.

That said, how can you even continue this conversation without staring in awe at this 80s opulence?!?! I could stare at it all day. Those fingernails that look like Bonkers candy, that armored breastplate with crystal teardrops she's wearing around her neck, that black poly/cotton blend shirt from Foxmoor, that pleather Timex wristband in the foreground...

I'm in love with it.

You're wrong. I provided pics of Janet's lazy eye which she still has till this day. If Janet were to underwent any sort of eyelid surgery then it would've disappeared. Admit to your fault and move on. Janet's eyes have always been big like Michael's. You're looking at all these pics of her with different eye make up and angles. And ASSuming that she got eyelid surgery. Besides it wouldn't make sense if she even did seeing that she always had big eyes.

When a PR flack bolts from his post at the front door of Vivienne Westwood Red Label and goes sprinting down the street, you know that the celebrity wattage is about to get turned way up. But inside, guests tapped their feet as several front-row seats remained empty, awaiting famous bottoms. Which random British starlet was holding up the show this time? we wondered.

But when none other than the Queen of Pop, Janet Jackson, emerged slowly from backstage to take her seat, dragging a swarm of buzzing paparazzi, we forgave the delay. Wearing tweed and a slightly taken-aback look, she created such a kerfuffle that the photographers ignored Naomi Campbell for a whole minute when she strutted out in a puff of black marabou in Ms. Jackson's wake.

_____

Sienna Miller, 28, wearing cream 1940s-style hotpants, grabbed a front row seat at her friend Matthew Williamson’s catwalk show, along with Sixties supermodel Twiggy.

‘He’s taken the brand to a whole new level,’ gushed Miller, who was showing off her own Twenty8Twelve collection, designed with sister Savannah.

Williamson showcased slinky evening wear in vibrant colours along with a variety of prints, fur, slim-cut leather trousers and low-rise harem pants.

‘I want about ten things,’ said Twiggy. ‘I want the harem pants in every colour.’

Meanwhile, Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts was spotted watching Richard Nicoll’s models strutting with chiffon bags over their heads – and All Saint Melanie Blatt was in the front row for Betty Jackson’s show, whose colours were apparently inspired by the blends of English painter JMW Turner.

Jimmy Choo and the Sugababes attended Jasper Conran’s show, which blended inspiration from British sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth with the playful shapes and styles of 1960s Carnaby Street.

Conran’s dramatic display at Somerset House took in spherical coats, space-age sequins and whimsical cuts prompting wild, voluptuous silhouettes.

And it wasn’t just the catwalk that was causing a stir – when Janet Jackson and Naomi Campbell turned up at Vivienne Westwood’s show, they were engulfed by paparazzi. And some fans got very close indeed. ‘Now sitting next to Janet Jackson. Touched her thigh. Result.’ tweeted T4’s exuberant Jameela Jamil
.

Yeah, keep believing that. You can't see the minor details I'm looking at anyway, so I'm through discussing this with you. I recognize change when I see it. Whether by surgery or something else, she looks different. You remind me of MJ fans who deliriously say that during This Is It, his face looked the same way it did during the Bad era: "His nose and smile are exactly the same!" rolleyes I love him like crazy, but I am not in denial like that. lol

Are we really going to bring MJ's procedures into discussion? confused

You're still ignoring my "Lazy eye" statement, I see. Well, Mr. let me tell you something. You're wrong. So because Janet looks a bit different from her younger years you automatically assume she got something done LOL! Do you look the same as you did when you were a teen? I bet not.

I regret even posting in this thread. lol I just wanted to find out if anyone here has noticed what I see as being different about Janet's face, but I guess not. Midiscover is always ready to jump and bite people's heads off, so her/his responses are not surprising, lol. But if anyone else is saddened by my observation, I am so very truly sorry. I don't recant what I've posted, but at the same time, I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, and I certainly don't "hate" Janet. I'm not hardcore, but I'm a fan of hers. The point of it all is: Janet looks great now, and always has. smile
