k.d. Lang is the best damn singer today IMO. No auto tune shit for her. She KNOWS how to sing. It's only been in recent DAYS that I've started to realize just how talented k.d. lang is with singing. I grabbed all of her albums to take a good listen and see if I liked them enough to get them physically. (I can recognize someone's talent without needing to buy their records. I'm giving k.d. lang a run.) Annie Lennox is the other voice near the top 3 or 4 female voices in the industry. I've been a fan of k.d.'s for a long time. I have always liked her music, but she isn't what I would call an exciting artist. She just sings and sounds amazing no matter what genre she is singing. She is underrated because she is not a beauty wearing next to nothing. I'm so glad she sang at the opening ceremonies because it allowed millions of people to hear her beautiful voice. I think Annie Lennox has a great voice too. Not as perfect as k.d.'s IMHO, but very good nonetheless. | |
