Atlantic Starr - My Sugar

This was actually a bit of return to their earlier R&B roots post
Barbara Weathers era. It also helped that they had a hot lady
in the video to boost.

This video came on Vh1 Soul on Sunday. I hadn't seen the video or heard the song in a long time. I had forgotten how much I liked this song.

One funny thing about Atlantic Starr...

After Barbara left in 1988,each subsequent album featured a different female vocalist lol The lady on this song remained in the band only for that one album ('We're Movin Up').By the time they released their next album,'Love Crazy' in 1992 (featuring the hit single "Masterpiece"),they had yet another female vocalist.I'm pretty sure that there was another female vocalist for the next album,'Time',in 1994.

I saw them in concert a few years ago and (surprise, surprise) they had a new female vocalist whom I had never seen or heard before, lol.

Weren't they down to one original member Wayne Lewis?
I heard his brother David is singing gospel now.
