Oh man...
This takes me back! I remember getting detention for singing "Juicy Fruit" in band class... "I can be your lollipop- you can lick me anywhere..." When I was about 20, I was dating a guy who was friends with Mtume's son. A couple of years ago, Mtume's granddaughter graduated from the high school where I teach. I told her I used to hang out with her uncle backinthaday... Tawatha used to come into the store where I worked a lot. (same one as that Houston chick ) Thanks for the memories! "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

I'm ordering this ASAP. Thanks for the tip! What other albums of theirs (aside from Juicy Fruit and You, Me, and He) are available on CD? Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

And now I'm a teacher and the lyrics have gotten soooo much more provocative! I don't give detention, but I am constantly telling kids: "You can't sing that here!" "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

^^ I haven't heard that in sooo long! I couldn't remember the exact lyrics. I just remember Mr. Urbanski was not pleased.
I'm about to go click on that YouTube click up there. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

I just wrote that exact lyric on a Cinnie thread!!!!! For some reason this song reminds me of my first job at an amusement park, Great America. It reminds me of my time there and how boy crazy I was. One of my FAVE love songs ever, and I didn't know that Almighty Tee dabbled in it in You, Me & He...
I love how they incorporated Whats a telephone bill? into the song [Edited 2/7/10 11:39am]
