One again: So being trained as a classical singer makes him better than your average Pop singer? And that"classical training" is bullshit anyway, cause I went to some singing lessons too and they actually teach most techniques (breathing, posture...) from classical stuff... So anybody who went to a decent singing course can say the same thing...
Did Princey sing classical music? No. But still he's one of the greatest. And above that, he's a self-made singer...
Any decent singer can make a "parody" of classical singing. Anyone.
Just like WaterInYourBath, lm a R Kelly fan and and a MJ fan too. But I still think MJ is waaaaay better : The tone, the range, the techniques, the vocals effects AND the vocal arragements. Plus he could sing WHILE dancing (at least in his greatdays)

chatterbox

R. Kelly is a trained opera singer whether you like it or not. The classical training isn't bullshit since he clearly took advantage of it and became a better singer by adding more versatility to his already wide range. Provide me with audio of MJ singing classical Opera? what about blues? Jazz? without sounding the same. Don't post that 2000 watts BS either.

bored2

I don't give a flying fuck if you took singing lessons. You probably sound like shit. thumbs up!

Oh and stop going back and forth on your alias account. lol

I don't know if the example I gave is on YouTube, but do you have a Blu-ray player? Rent the This Is It blu-ray, and watch the "Memories of Michael" special feature. lol MJ has said that he LOVED studying/listening to classical music. smile

Guy, you can't be serious right? Or you're just trying to fan the flame??
I like R Kelly music (well, until that "TP3.com" shit), but there's no waaay he's a better singer than MJ!! Even that "When A Woman..." song that U chose is not the song where he sings best...
So your problem with MJ voice is that it sounds "pop" as U say... So according to U, only R&B/soul/blues singers have the potential of being the greatest covalists?? I just find this opinion kinda narrow-minded, cause in styles like hard rock or arabic music, u have great (i mean HUGE) singers that can make R Kelly drink his piss...

Well, until you can provide any evidence of MJ singing Opera I will continue to think R. sings better than MJ. No, my problem with MJ's voice isn't because it's "pop". He's just not my cup of tea.

That's your opinion.

That's all you had to say bruh

No I forget when this was taken but this was one of his pre-sentencing photos. Looks 2004-ish.
