Do the different blocks of your list correspond to different tiers?

So far, we have 17 album lists in the books, with more promised from:

I'm still waiting to enter JoeTyler's list as well, once I get further info.

We only have 6 song lists so far, with another possible addition from paintsprayer.

Now I whipping the search function over my music drive, weeding out the album per year. Search 1990>put all albums in playlist>search 1991>etc.

Well, if we are making a list of the "best 200 singles of the 90's", I'll certainly include "Cream" and "Most Beautiful Girl in the World", but not "Had U" or "Zannalee", no matter how strong those songs are; I truly believe that a singles list should include perennial hits from the era (not necessarily Nº1 stuff) but not lesser singles, personal favorites, or virtually unknown album tracks...

This list was fun to compile, but it was weird to see the results. I used some personal criteria to place them in order; first, they had to be ALBUMS. You know, the kinda of albums you can play from start to finish. You will find albums that ended up low on this list will deliver high-ranking songs on my songs-list.

Second, they needed to have made an emotional impact. Albums that spoke to me and guided me through happy and/or sad times.

Third, I still had to play them often.

I am glad I still got most of the month to compile the songs-list, which will be harder yet...
