Prince never performed on "Soul Train" until the mid 1990s after both the show and his own music had fallen off. I always found it very stupid that Prince made the rounds to every white show back in the day when he was a somebody but never went on "Soul Train" until he fell off.

But Don did have the "watered down minus George" version of Funkadelic on in 81 (Calvin, Fuzzy and Grady).

They are wrong. The Tempations and Anita Baker were on there but prince wasn't. Here's a link to all their episodes that year....
