Who Knew George Michael Was So Damn Funny? I was watching "Live In London," and in between 2 songs so far, George Michael is funny. I loved it when he did "I'm Your Man" (the new version) and then he said something like, "I'm not that type of guy. I wouldn't do that to you" and then he started the classic version. How funny!
The second was when "Flawless" came on and he made some crack about the screen behind him being, "The gayest screen ever" or something like that. I love GM as a performer, but he never struck me as someone who was "funny" but he sure is. Just another reason to love him. I hope there is more of his humor on this amazing DVD. He said "Apparently this is the gayest record I've ever made". VERY funny stuff. GM went through that dark, serious phase during his court battle, and it was hard to imagine him with a sense of humor. But having seen him in other interviews and all that behind the scenes footage with him. For those that don't know. "Flawless (Go To The City" is based heavily on an old dance song called "Flawless" from The Ones, which is basically the same track w/o George's vocals and extra production. There are a few mixes of the original 12" floating around online, and are well worth the hunt. Watch the documentary, "I'd Know Him A Mile Off". Lots of great stuff on there. I cannot stop watching that DVD. I fucking love that guy so much. | |

Yes you do! The extra tracks, and documentary are on disk 2 of the regular DVD, but the BluRay version is one disk, and has everything on it. | |

I really liked his "A Different Story" docu-movie he made a few years ago. He was really funnny there, too. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |
