Did anybody like LYFE JENNINGS music?

He's got baby mama drama going on...but some of his music was pretty good. Do you think he had potential? What are some of your songs you liked by him?

music
None of them got what it takes
2 B a future baby mama
Gotta bend in the wind, but don't break
2 keep your man
Show me 1 of them and I'll make her mine
With no more drama
Future baby mama

Does anyone have any info on his new project? I know he's not signed to Sony anymore. I haven't heard anything new on him.

Last I heard was the song "Hater" that I think is about Matthew Knowles.

I really dug his first album, the second one was not that good,it only had a few cuts on it that I liked, but his third ? I couldn't listen to that shit...

I saw this video a few months ago

I knew Then

I like it, it sounds like what he was doing on his first album... I hope his next album will be good

i kinda liked him at first, but after that not so much... he tries to hard and really strains his voice like he's choking on certian songs.

I like him, but he don't know what direction he wants to go in. His last album sounded like Wyclef. His two street singles (Haters & If I knew Then) are sub par and his 1st single is called Busy. It is on youtube. Let me know what you guys think. Now if you went down to Mississippi and went to church and heard those old men sing, that is Lyfe's muse. Ironically his brother Jay Rush (Johnathan Jennings) is going to perform at my prison next Friday. Check him out on youtube. They sound alike and I give Jay the edge.

I do like his music sometimes. His first album is a classic.

I just checked out Haters, and all his music sound alike to me.

A stupid man’s report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconciously translates what he hears into something he can understand.

I think it sucks that they never found who murdered La La Brown, she sounded so good on his songs.

Yeah, the poor girl was really young about 21...it was reported La La and her beau both had gunshot wounds and had been dead at least a day before they had been found, in the studio.

Classic to me! LOL! I think it can be a timeless album considering how hungry he was at that point. To be locked up and then pour your heart and soul into your project is priceless. Kinda like all or nothing.
