better&cooler at the time.Catchy Material for the time period. He was smart too Capitolize on a Dance Craze.84 "the Bird"&then He came back with "THe Oak Tree".Smart Move on His Part.alot of Talented Cats on His Album.Larry Dunn from EWF Playing Synths&Others.Morris playing drums&Programming didn't shock me but Him on Synths was a shocker but then again all the Cats from the Minneapolis Sound play Synths&Boards you know?I liked the first side better overall.Jill Jones on the opening VOcals of "Oak Tree"."Love Sign" was a cool cut as well.but I don't ahrdly listen too it much anymore.still cool of you too mention it.Peace&Have a Great Day mistermaxxx

I remember hearing this album back in 1985 and thinking "there are too many synthesizers on this record!".The songs pretty much all sound alike.A few songs are cool ("The Character" is my fav,and the title track kicks ass),but overall,I wasn't too impressed.Hearing this album just made me miss The Time even more.
